This project is a proposal for a 13 storey mixed use building over an existing heritage building in Hawthorn. The design incorporates a restaurant /cafe on the ground and first floors, with 11 stories of apartments above.
The main challenges of this project are access issues, building around the heritage façade and constructability issues given the tight site.
